Recognizing top innovations in science and technology for 2015, editors at the R&D 100 magazine announced the finalists for the R&D 100 awards. Named Market Disruptor Product category finalist is VUV Analytics’ gas chromatography (GC) detector, VGA-100.
The innovative VGA-100 GC detector extends the familiar concept of absorption spectroscopy to the VUV range of the electromagnetic spectrum and is used in combination with a gas chromatograph to separate and analyze samples. This advancement in GC detection technology presents significant benefits for analytical chemists across numerous industries including petroleum and natural gas, environmental sciences, biochemistry/biotechnology, and food & beverage.
